Various Characters

I have a couple of worlds that I have generated over the years. Here are some descriptions of some of the characters that I have created and collaborated with some of my other friends.

Some of these worlds are very close to our own, some are completely different.

Arlo O’Halloran/Rian Fitzgerald

Arlo is a man of Irish ethnicity who grew up in Boston, Massachusetts. He transferred from the Boston Community College to the University of Chicago to pursue his master’s in literature and library science. Led by the call of the Gods, (his father was Ogma, one of the Tuatha De Danan). He competed among other suitors for the hand of Damayanti Chakravarti, (the daughter of Ganesha).

He is a handsome, red-haired man, who has a boxer’s build. He is wily and very rarely turns down a challenge, whether it be a mental or physical. As a descendant of his father, Ogma, he is quite strong. His rugged good looks always turn heads. He fell in love with Damayanti. Her father approved of him, but her mother did not. He faced the challenges that were set before him by Damayanti’s mother and over the other suitors. He won his love’s hand. (Damayanti chose him, she told him to steal her, which he did.) They were married and their adventures continued.

Damayanti Chakravarti (married, O’Halloran)/Sitara Fitzgerald

Damayanti Chakravarti was a college student at the University of Chicago. She was majoring in Chemistry and minoring in Botany. Her father was an avatar of Lord Ganesha who had taken the name of Aakash Chakravarti. Her mother, Nalini, was an avatar of Riddhi, the Goddess of Intelligence. The Chakravarti family owned the restaurant, the Tandoori Rooftop. She grew up working in the restaurant’s kitchen and had developed excellent cooking skills. She had two other sisters, Ishanti and Maya.

At the age of 19, her father had awakened her to her true nature, as he put it, he gave her a dose of enlightenment. Unbeknownst to her, he had set up a challenge. She survived the challenge, at the cost of being estranged from the life that she knew. A beautiful stranger, an adopted daughter of Artemis rescued her. Somehow, she made it back to college, but her outlook on the way that the world worked had changed.

Zhon He

Zhon He is a martial artist. He used to have a gym in the city of Chicago. He met Damayanti after she gained her new-found enlightenment to her nature. He is a child of Prince Nezah. He can be a troublemaker, but he has a good heart. He does not give in to convention and will rebel against authority. He considers himself Damayanti’s little brother. Zhon lives for the moment and is more interested in experiences rather than the dryness of the studies that Damayanti dives into.
